Travelling In Tenerife

Tenerife is a popular island resort destination located in the Atlantic Ocean. The largest of the seven Canary Islands, Tenerife has grown to become one of the leading tourist destinations in the world receiving about five million visitors every year. The main tourist attractions on the island are the climate, exotic beaches, black pyramids, museums, as well as mount Tiede, a snow capped mountain on the island.

Arriving on the island, the first thing that strikes one is the climate. Known as the island of eternal spring, Tenerife boasts a warm climate all year round with average temperatures of between twenty and twenty two degrees Celsius in winter and between twenty six and twenty eight degrees in summer. Trade winds ensure the overall climate in the area is regulated to a moderate state ideal for holiday makers.

The next things to have on ones itinerary are the various places to visit. These include places such as Las Canadas del Teide, or Mount Teide. The summit of this volcanic mountain provides a spectacular view of the whole island as well as all the surrounding islands. The exotic beaches are another must-visit while in Tenerife. Jardin and Martianez beach are two of the islands best beaches and getting down to some real holidaying on one of these beauties is what’s up! So, when looking for cheap deals to Tenerife, make sure to grab one close to these beaches.

Now, the island is pretty packed with all sorts of great places to visit but let’s skip to the juicy part; the nightlife! Well, as with all other Spanish destinations, the nightlife in Tenerife is absolutely smashing. Casinos are practically growing out of the coral reefs on the beach fronts. Casino Taoro is by far the most interesting and happening casino on the island. However, the strict dress code may not allow you in with your multicolored Hawaii shirt from your last holiday. If that is the case, simply head for one of the many nightclubs in the area.

Clubs such as Victoria, Avenida de Colon and many others with just as difficult names are the order of the day (or night, to be precise). If you are a bit more conservative (and stuffy), then one of the many English pubs may interest you. However, a warning on one of the travel sites warns clearly that you will actually find the English at these clubs! However, do not be disheartened because Tenerife is actually an awesome holiday spot and if the English actually visit such a cool place, then that must make them somewhat cool. If any of this sounds like something down your street, then all inlcusive Tenerife holidays are the way to go – sorting out all your essential needs in one go and leaving you with more free time to get the most of your holiday.
